Public Works and Town Sanitation

The Town of Lake Placid Public Works serves the community, providing garbage collection, brush collection, bulk trash collection, and street repairs. However, there are also some services that are not as visible, such as traffic sign installation, pavement markings, mowing of rights of way, maintenance and repair of stormwater infrastructure, and upkeep of all town-owned buildings. Our team is a dedicated group of individuals who work tirelessly to provide a clean and safe environment for the residents of  The Town of Lake Placid.
