NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THE TOWN OF LAKE PLACID, FLORIDA
REZONING
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that PUBLIC HEARINGS will be held at the Lake Placid Government Center, 1069 US 27 N, Lake Placid, Florida, 33852, as follows:
1. A public hearing before the Town of Lake Placid Local Planning Agency (LPA) on Monday, January 6, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible. Consideration will be given whether to recommend that Town Council approve Hearing No. LPTC.25.001RZ, Ordinance No. 2025-01.
2. First reading will be held by the Town of Lake Placid Town Council on Monday, January 13, 2025, beginning at 5:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible to introduce and consider Hearing No. LPTC.25.001RZ, Ordinance No. 2025-01.

3. Second reading (public hearing) will be held by the Town of Lake Placid Town Council on Monday, February 10, 2025, beginning at 5:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible to introduce and consider approval of Hearing No. LPTC.25.001RZ, Ordinance No. 2025-01.

ORDINANCE NUMBER 2025-01: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LAKE PLACID AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 608 W INTERLAKE BOULEVARD, LAKE PLACID, FLORIDA, FROM C-2 LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO C-2 PD LIMITED COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR A CHURCH AND CHURCH USES; AND ADDING SECTION 160-22 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LAKE PLACID ENTITLED LAKE PLACID CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
